This week sees the launch of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust’s latest awareness-raising campaign, Genotype Matters.
We worked with the team at the Trust to create a fully integrated campaign that explains to people affected by cystic fibrosis why it’s vital they know their genotype in order to access new, personalised treatments.
The campaign tells the story that when it comes to cystic fibrosis treatment, there’s no such thing as ‘one size fits all’. Everyone with the condition is different. But they all have one thing in common. They all need to know their genotype, in order to access the treatments that are the right fit for them.
The campaign included a website, a short film animated by Rumpus. On the site, people affected by cystic fibrosis can enter their genotype and find out personalised information that is relevant to their treatment. Information packs sent out to cystic fibrosis centres. The packs included t-shirts, posters and flyers that encouraged patients to talk to their doctor about learning their genotype.
